what happened to the beheading of kidnapped infidels? focus group feedback and market research produce the conclusion that cutting off heads doesn’t yield the results and desired effects it once used to? is it that a back to basics flaying that’s truly in order? has decades of debased entertainment and mindless violence finally desensitized to the point that decapitation is not the benchmark of dismemberment any longer? or could it be that the efficacy of any terror tactic is inversely proportional to how far it is from my backyard?
