some drink and get sad. some drink and cry. some drink and get angry. some drink and say gay people take it up the ass. some drink and call police officers ’sugar tits’. some drink and assert the jews are responsible for all the wars in the world. some drink and beat their girlfriends because they ‘deserved’ it. some drink and claim they see a bitch in heat or a vegas whore. some drink and call the help ‘wetback’. some drink and bring up being ‘raped by a pack of niggers’. one guy does all of these but the first two…which is sad and can make you want to cry.

unequivically the answer is “no” if a fraternal bond is shared between your guitarist and vocalist while happening to be a black crowe, oasis or kink. again there be a “nay” if your brothers bee gibb whereas the deleos and maddens carry on gleefully with one another, a point that invariably accounts for some but not all of their suckitude.

is not the term “movie” an antiquated and witless relic of a less kinetic time? what of substance can be said of the annual gladiatorial game of motion picture performance colloquially known as the oscars? nothing, for that which lacks substance cannot be accounted for with substance any more than art can compete. nonetheless why has any pat on the back taken on such an ostentatious and overblown countenance when the knife in the back has so much more staying power to affect change? what can be said about a change agent if its success must be taken notice of? perhaps the change is not so significant, if at all, and hardly worth the recognition.

the assertion of choice is nothing without pride yet millions of smokers cower from the frost and inclemency while huddling around slightly ajar portals dangling fags in the freeze. six feet under and with the choice, the marlboro man puffs away without cracking open his casket but the modern smoker has devolved to be mild as may once more. be work as it may, a slow suicide in of itself, it is high time that the modern smoker proudly take their life in their own hands, betwixt the index and middle to pull unrepentantly from their preferred brand of drug delivery device in the winter as a reclamation of the spirit and individuality that smoking’s marketers so carefully cultivated in years past.

man and himself expressed for himself, about himself and made into an artifact for his pleasure rightly is called art. a paleolithic frank scrawling a record of experience on a cave wall so as to stop time and space for himself is genuinely artistic whereas the claptrap of the historically defined artist is nothing more than a phantasmagoria designed to pick a pocket. l’art pour l’art commodifies and legitimizes the escapism of solipsistic labor evaders, denigrating the relation between man and his symbols while turning the process outward and into an exhibition of grotesque capitalistic impulses. artistic expression is rendering an artifact of the self for the self about the self and any end outside that is whoremongering.

you can calculate the worth of a man by the number of his enemies, and the importance of a work of art by the harm that is spoken of it.

isn’t it odd that a boy can be turned into this? how is it that franklin’s journey to tinseltown returns him as this? when is a king not fit for a queen but rather just bad company? sometimes family is not a fit substitute, but all of this probably makes sense when it is realized that neither he nor him were ever talking about love, just money.

barren from any serialized parchment and ink publications are ‘it’ and ‘you’ while ‘i’ and ‘us’ fruitfully multiple unchecked in the daily, weekly and monthly warrens. quaint in its naiveté, objectivity was at least a clever game of cat and mouse between columnist and audience in which purported empiricism purred forth waiting to catch unsuspecting reading rodents in the claws of conjecture. what an unrefined age where opinions are brazeningly brandished as fact without so much as the artifice of impartiality…a bit of a girlfriend experience can go a long way in returning a john to pay again for servicing.

somewhere along the way a clever soul finally noticed there is no “u” in profile and boldly placed their “i” within it. copy consists of rote ad nauseum of the relationship of the perceiver to the object, an insipid exploration of a parasitic attachment to a host. the spite of the boring and bromidic has been funneled into a career in publishing and the slow decline of traditional publications corresponds to the rise of self-absorbed hacks nakedly placing themselves within the piece. print remains dead. print is dead. and we have killed it.

can there be an any more amusing pop culture precept today than the idea of “keeping it real”? how is it “keeping it real” means being able to hold to two mutually exclusive lifestyles, such as street thug and bonvivant of expensive sparkling wines or celebuskank and undefiled? keeping it real amongst breast augmentation, elective reconstructive surgery, weaves, credit-dependent accustomed lifestyles, digital disgorgements, gender-bent idealized figures, nicotine-induced appetite suppressants, cover songs, veggie burgers, the “beard”, porn orgasms, and political moderates demonstrates the wholesale astral projection of society and the disconnect between the mind and its body. the only things that has been kept real is the ignorance of insincerity…ah, but isn’t that the point?
